Plan a confident visit

PolishPint Frequently Asked Questions

Find practical answers about our Warsaw venue, reservations, adult entry, social casino entertainment, menus, accessibility, group events, refunds, and transport before you visit.

The venue

Atmosphere, spaces, and opening arrangements

PolishPint is a sociable central Warsaw bar and hosted-event venue. Seating ranges from standard bar tables to reservable group zones and a lounge-style area. The layout used for your visit depends on attendance, service choice, and events already confirmed for that date.

Can I visit without booking an event?

Walk-in visits may be possible during public opening periods, but a table is not guaranteed. Hosted cards, lounge areas, and group packages require advance confirmation.

Is the whole venue a casino?

No. PolishPint is a hospitality and event setting. Casino-style tables are used for supervised social entertainment only, alongside drinks, food, conversation, and regular bar service.

Can we reserve a private room?

Semi-private and dedicated zones may be available. Fully exclusive use depends on the date, group size, operating plan, and an individually agreed minimum spend or hire fee.

Spaces are assigned to match the confirmed format and guest count.
Advance details help the team prepare the right seating and service.

Reservations

Booking, confirmation, and arrival times

For the quickest proposal, provide your preferred date, arrival time, number of adult guests, package interest, and any food, mobility, or scheduling needs. A request is not a booking until PolishPint issues written confirmation and the required payment is received.

How far ahead should we reserve?

Two to four weeks is a useful target for small events, while company evenings and peak weekend dates benefit from more notice. Short-notice requests are still checked against space and staffing.

What happens if our guest count changes?

Send the revised number as soon as possible. Increases require capacity and may add costs; reductions after the final confirmation deadline may not reduce the agreed total.

How long is a table held?

Arrive at the time shown in your confirmation. Late arrival can shorten hosted play or reservation time because later bookings, staff schedules, and closing arrangements still apply.

Adult access

The venue and hosted experiences are 18+

PolishPint serves alcohol and presents adult-oriented hosted entertainment. Entry and participation are limited to guests aged 18 or over. This condition applies even when a guest does not plan to drink alcohol or join a card table.

Bring valid identification

Staff may request a valid government-issued photo ID to confirm age. A photograph or copy may not be accepted as a substitute for the original document.

No under-18 event access

Guests under 18 cannot join a private booking, wait in the event area, or attend as non-playing companions. Organizers should communicate this before arrival.

Responsible service

Being over 18 does not guarantee alcohol service. Staff may refuse service or entry when required for safety, responsible operation, or lawful venue management.

How play works

Social casino entertainment with no cash wagering

Casino-style equipment and familiar game formats create an engaging theme, but PolishPint does not operate cash gambling. Entertainment chips are props with no cash value. Guests do not buy chips, wager money, exchange chips for money, or receive cash prizes.

Do I need to bring money for the tables?

No. Package and hospitality costs are handled through the booking or bar bill. Cash and valuables must never be placed as a stake during hosted play.

Can the winner receive a prize?

An organizer may arrange an agreed symbolic, non-cash recognition such as a certificate or small commemorative item. Cash, cash equivalents, pooled entry money, and stake-based prizes are not permitted.

Are beginners welcome?

Yes. Hosts explain the basic rules and table etiquette in accessible language. The aim is shared entertainment and conversation, not expert-level competition.

Chips and cards support hosted play and never represent money.
Preselected drinks and sharing food keep group service well paced.

Drinks and food

Menu choices for individuals and groups

The available menu can include Polish craft beer, classic and house cocktails, alcohol-free mixed drinks, soft drinks, and shareable food. Event menus are intentionally focused so service remains smooth during hosted sessions.

Are alcohol-free choices available?

Yes. Guests can select soft drinks and alcohol-free mixed options. Tell us in advance if a package should include an equal alcohol-free allocation.

Can dietary requirements be accommodated?

Share allergies and dietary requirements before confirming the menu. The team will identify practical options, but an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed where ingredients are stored and prepared together.

May we bring our own drinks or food?

Outside drinks are not permitted. Outside food is generally not accepted, although a celebration cake may be approved in writing with handling and allergen conditions.

Access needs

Ask early about physical, sensory, and dietary access

Needs differ between guests and the usable route or seating arrangement can vary with the event layout. Contact PolishPint before paying if step-free movement, adapted seating, a quieter position, extra orientation, or another adjustment is essential to attendance.

How do I confirm wheelchair access?

Describe the mobility device, transfer needs, and preferred seating in your enquiry. The team will check the entrance route, circulation space, table height, and suitable facilities for the requested date and format.

Can a companion or support person attend?

Yes, within confirmed adult capacity. Include support persons in the guest count so seating, service, emergency planning, and any package allocations are accurate.

Can the host adjust explanations?

Hosts can slow the introduction, repeat steps, use a demonstration, and reduce unnecessary game complexity. Share useful communication preferences before the event.

Groups and company events

Capacity, schedules, and shared responsibilities

Private celebrations and corporate events are built around a confirmed headcount and timeline. One lead organizer should approve the proposal, communicate the 18+ rule and no-cash-wagering policy, and remain available for practical decisions during the event.

What group sizes can PolishPint host?

Small tables and larger multi-station plans are available, but safe capacity changes with layout and service. Send an expected minimum and maximum so the team can recommend a workable format.

Can colleagues rotate between games?

Yes. Corporate plans can use timed rotations or a freer social format. The best approach depends on guest numbers, session length, table count, and whether speeches or food service are included.

Can we display company branding?

Small freestanding signs or digital assets may be approved in advance. Nothing may block exits, damage surfaces, confuse venue signage, or promote cash gambling.

Table count and host coverage are matched to the confirmed attendance.
Your written confirmation records the payment and cancellation schedule.

Changes and refunds

Know the cancellation terms before payment

Event preparation can involve reserved space, scheduled hosts, ordered stock, and third-party commitments. The terms issued with your quote govern the booking and should be reviewed before the reservation payment is made.

Can I receive a refund if I cancel?

For standard events, cancellation more than 14 days before the date may qualify for a refund less committed external costs. Payments are normally non-refundable for later cancellations. Your written terms provide the final rule.

Can we move the event to another date?

A transfer may be possible with sufficient notice and availability. Changed supplier costs, seasonal package rates, or already committed expenses may be added to the revised booking.

What if PolishPint must cancel?

If the venue cannot provide the confirmed service, the team will discuss a suitable replacement date or refund for the affected PolishPint service, subject to the booking agreement and applicable rights.

Getting here and home

Central Warsaw transport planning

PolishPint is at ul. Nowy Świat 27, 00-029 Warsaw. Check a current journey planner before departure because routes, service intervals, road access, and temporary city restrictions can change. Allow extra time when your package includes a fixed hosted start.

Should we use public transport?

Metro, tram, and bus connections serve central Warsaw, and walking from a nearby stop is often convenient. Confirm the most suitable route for your mobility needs and travel time on the day.

Is parking guaranteed?

No. PolishPint does not guarantee on-street or public parking availability. Drivers should review current paid-zone rules, nearby public facilities, vehicle restrictions, and enough time to walk to the venue.

Can staff arrange a taxi after the event?

Staff can help identify a pickup point when operations allow, but transport availability, fares, waiting time, and the journey remain the guest's responsibility. Plan a safe trip home before drinking alcohol.

Where should a coach or rideshare drop us?

Ask before the event for the most practical current meeting point. Large vehicles and app-based rides may need to stop away from the entrance due to traffic rules or temporary access restrictions.
