Written confirmation matters
Only bookings confirmed in writing with a named date, package and price are covered by this policy. Verbal enquiries and draft proposals do not create a refund obligation.
This page explains when and how PolishPint provides refunds for cancellations, changes to an event or problems with a paid booking.
We know that plans change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to guests while recognising that staff, ingredients and other resources are committed once a booking is confirmed. Cancellations must be made in writing by the person who made the original booking.
This policy covers deposits, pre-payments and final balances for hosted events, private tables and packages booked through polishpint.com or by direct agreement. It does not cover third-party costs that have already been paid on your behalf.
Full refunds are usually possible more than 14 days before the event. Closer to the date, the retained amount increases to reflect committed costs. Credits for future events may be offered at our discretion.
Ask for clarificationWe prefer direct explanations, proportionate processes and practical routes for raising questions.

The closer a cancellation is to the event, the more costs we will have already committed. Our retention scale reflects that timing rather than a flat fee.
Where a full refund is not possible, we may offer a credit against a future event, a date change or a reduced package. The options available depend on the notice given and the capacity on the alternative date.
The refund schedule below applies to the PolishPint portion of the booking. Third-party costs, such as transport, special entertainment or outsourced catering, are handled according to the supplier's own terms.
A full refund of PolishPint charges is usually available. We may retain non-refundable deposits already passed to third-party suppliers.
Fifty percent of the PolishPint package price is retained. The remaining fifty percent is refunded using the original payment method where possible.
All cancellation or refund requests must be made in writing by the booking contact. We aim to respond within five business days with the refund amount, method and expected timing.
If an event cannot take place because of a reason beyond our reasonable control, such as a public-health order, extreme weather or a venue closure, we will offer rescheduling or a refund as appropriate. We are not responsible for guest travel costs, accommodation or other third-party expenses.
Contact us as soon as you know the booking needs to change. Earlier notice gives us more options to reschedule, reduce or credit your event.
Cancellations more than 14 days before the event can usually be refunded in full, except for non-refundable third-party costs already committed.
A single guest not attending usually does not reduce the package price, because the table, staffing and hospitality are reserved for the agreed total number. A significant reduction in guest count may be treated as a partial cancellation.
Date changes are possible if the new date has availability and the request is made with enough notice. If the change is close to the original date, a rebooking fee or retention may apply.
Contact us with your booking reference and we will explain how the refunds and credits apply to your specific situation.
